Begonia heracleifoniana

This begonia is from cutting propagation thus the root is relatively thin. In our experience, the root may take 3-6 months to form into full shape. Yet, please be assured that it’s a healthy plant.

Begonia heracleifoniana is an evergreen, rhizomatous perennial flowering plants in the family Begoniaceae. It bears deeply cut palmate foliage that marked with pink or green mottling on new leaves, which turns silver and green when ageing. Single pale pink orchid-like flowers overtone at the ends of the stems in late summer and autumn. Its height and width reach up to 14 inches at maturity. Begonia heracleifoniana grows best in humid and partially shady position during the growing period, but avoid overwatering as it may cause rot. Often grown as an indoor plant, this perennial certainly serves a vivid display on the doorstep or terrace for some botanical vibe.
