Tanichthys albonubes is native to Mount Baiyun, China. They have a silver iridescent body with a bright iridescent stripe down the length of their bodies. Males of this species have some red on their dorsal and caudal fins as well as some red on their mouths. Females are slightly larger than the males, but tend to lack the red coloration on their bodies. They have a peaceful temperament . We recommend that you place these fish in groups of 8 or more.
