Vampire crab is a general term for more than 50 species of crabs belonging to the genus Vampire Crab. It is mainly distributed in India to Southeast Asia. It is a terrestrial crab and breeds in fresh water. The regeneration of severed limbs is completed, and the regeneration ability disappears after maturity.

1. Female crabs are darker in color than male crabs and have smaller pincers.
