-Acorus sp. is widely spread

-The young stalks are dark green, slightly white powdered, and turn olive yellow in old age

-Sheath leaves are ovate-lanceolate; sheaths are glabrous; sheaves are well-developed, round or ovate to sickle-shaped; sheaves tongue is very short

-Don't put Acorus sp. under direct sunlight

-Don't water your plant frequently in hibernation made to prevent root rot
