Pinguicula Sethos is native to Mexico. It is a hybird between P. ehlersiae and P. moranensis. Like other butterworts, it has sticky adhesive leaves. forms “drool edges” which attract, capture, and digest arthropod prey in order to supply the plant with nutrients such as nitrogen not found in the nutrient poor, acidic soil that it grows in. This species has large flowers and a pale white star-shaped center. Usually, the flowers of Pinguicula Sethos are slightly purple, and they will show reduced fleshy leaves when dormant in winter.
