A rainforest plant from China Guangxi. Lanternaria Begonia is a perennial herb of the Begonia family and the genus Begonia. The leaves are thick and papery. The two sides of the leaves are extremely unequal. The outline is obliquely ovate to obliquely broadly ovoid.
The upper part of Lanternaria Begonia is dark brown green and the lower part is light brown green. Both sides are hairless, stipules Membranous, oblong-ovate, scopes up to 25 cm high, several flowers, cymes, bracts broadly elliptic to broadly ovate, with large changes in shape, pedicels glabrous; broadly ovate, anthers obovate, Bracts ovate, tepals broadly ovate, ovary oblong ovate, capsules drooping
