Lagenandra meeboldii ' Red '

Lagenandra Meeboldii Red is originally from India and is looking quite similar to Cryptocoryne species. It can be used in the aquarium just like Cryptocorynes but needs sufficient light to develop colors. Under good light, it has a nice orange-brown to pink leaf color. It grows to 10 to 30 cm in height and has a spreading growth habit. Other than most crypts, it does not form underground runners but has a thick rhizome similar to Anubias species. A nutrient-rich substrate along with CO2 injection is recommended for Lagenandra Meeboldii Red.
