Echinodorus tenellus also known as Narrow Leaf Chain Sword, or Pygmy chain Sword is a great sword plant to be used in the foreground or midground areas of the aquarium. Echinodorus tenellus spreads by runners and can form a nice carpet in the foreground areas of the aquarium. This plant will easily make a 5-10 cm high carpet when the light is good and the bottom layer nutritious. Even at an intense lightlevel this variety remains fresh green.
