Phormingochilus is a genus of spiders in the Theraphosidae family (also known as the true tarantulas). They are a genus of Asian arboreal spiders, known for bursts of speed and defensiveness when cornered, and is occasionally kept as an exotic pet.
Juvenile: 2 - 4 cm, Sub-adult: 5 - 8 cm, Adult: 14 - 16 cm
