- Psilotum nudum (L.) Beauv. is distributed in tropical and subtropical regions, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other provinces in China. It grows in crevices in rocks or on tree trunks. It prefers warm, humid, and semi shaded environments, requiring high air and soil humidity. It is suitable for planting in fertile, moist, loose, and well drained soil.
