-The origin of Saxifraga fortunei 'Akiba' is Japan, China, and the Korean Peninsula.It grows mostly on rocks near valleys and rivers, growing in damp and dark places. Granular soil can be used for cultivation of mountain weeds such as tung sand. Full sunlight can be provided in spring and autumn, while semi sunlight and shade management are recommended in summer.
