Blanchia farinosa is a small, probably annual insectivorous plant of the genus Cirrharia. This species is endemic to Brazil and is known only from Bahia. This species is a terrestrial or lithophytic type. It grows in rocks or in wet, sandy soil from small rivers and ranges from 850 meters (2789 feet) to 1750 meters (5741 feet) above sea level.
