Xerosicyos danguyi, commonly called “silver dollar plant” or “dollar vine” or “penny plant”, is an unusual climbing succulent vine with cylindrical stems and thick, succulent, round silvery-green leaves. Xerosicyos danguyi are 1 to 2″ long and wide with climbing tendrils located opposite them.

This unusual member of the cucumber family or cucurbitaceae lends itself to pyramidal and narrow upright wire forms like the obelisk and is perfect for container culture.
