Chinese knotweed mini bonsai ( Fallopia multiflora )
Fallopia multiflora is a herb, is listed in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and is one of the most popular perennial traditional Chinese medicines.
Fallopia multiflora also known by the Chinese name 'he shou wu'.
It is marketed for hair thinning, 'blood tonifying' and a variety of other conditions. It is a perennial plant, with thick massive rhizomes and ellipsoidal heart-shaped leaves. Yellow-white flowers will grow in Autumn.
The outer three slices of the perianth are enlarged in fruit period, thick, and sheathed on the back, covering the achene.
