This plant will be in hibernation mode during summer. During summer (May to October), you will be receiving a caudex with no leave and you need to wait till winter for new growth of leaves
- Drimia haworthioides Baker is originated from South Africa
- Drimia haworthioides produces yellowish green small flowers
- The bulb scales are large and are open- Don't water your plant frequently in hibernation mode to prevent root rot
- Each bulb scale can be removed and new plants can be grown from it.
