Mini Monstera is not a monstera, in fact it is the genus Rhaphidophora of the family Araceae, although being called Mini Monstera. It still bears heart-shaped, deep green, split leaves, but smaller in size. Native to southern Thailand and Malaysia, mini monstera enjoys weekly waterings and frequent misting. This plant is a relatively fast grower, thriving in low-light and even with minimal care, which makes it an excellent choice for houseplant newbies to build your own urban tropic. You can easily propagate your monstera deliciosa by taking stem and leaf cuts in water. Make sure you cut just below a stem node or an aerial root.
