Dicranum Scoparium is a velvety type of grass that tends to change different shades of green depending on the weather and depending on how much water that it has. Dicranum Scoparium there is a significant amount of moisture, then the moss is fluffy and bright green. When there is a decrease in the amount of moisture, then the leaves tend to shrink and become darker.
