Parahemionitis cordata
Parahemionitis cordata
Parahemionitis cordata, one of the genus Parahemionitis of the family Pteridaceae, is perfectly loved by its arrowhead shape, dark green leaves, earning it the name of “Heart Leaf Fern.
The fuzzy black to dark brown stems contrast the delicate hearts, making it stand out among plants in your dear garden.
As a tropical fern from southeast Asia, Parahemionitis cordata is a fairly tough plant, but requires low light, high humidity and warm temperatures.
At maturity it grows to heights of 6 to 10 inches tall, so it is great for smaller spaces. Highly sought-after by houseplant collectors, this small, compact fern is hard to miss.
